Englewood, Colorado

Englewood is another town that was formed by our great United Stated heritage. The quest for gold. It was origionally settled by Thomas Skerritt, deemed the Father of Englewood, who purchases 640 of the land there, which is still the majority of the town. Now it is rich in population, just south of Denver five miles. There is much to do and see in these parts of the woods. In addition to the regular golf courses, free summer concerts, and holiday activties, there land is also spotted with parks to relax, picnic, take a walk, or play with pets. The recreational center is a great place to stay in shape with all sorts of accessories, such as: an indoor track, full size gym, 8 laned swimming pool, weight training rooms, fitness room, racquetball courts, sand volleyball courts and a sauna to top it off. Live is catered to your needs or desires with upscale neighborhoods, gated communities, condos, vacation homes or rentals, private communities, senior communities, etc. It's a great place to live for great people.

Victorville, California

Is the coast too expensive to live close to? Scope out the city of Victorville and maybe you'll find what you are looking for. Two of my friends live there, and they say they'd prefer no other place. It is located about 97 miles northeast of L.A., 35 miles northeast of San Bernardino, still close enough to get some of that southern cali ocean. It was named after Jacob Nash Victor, a railroad engineer that stated, "No other railroad will ever have the nerve to build through these mountains. All who follow will prefer to rent trackage from us." In the town you have all your needs at your fingertips. Plenty of access to modern day shopping to antique, theatrical productions to movie cinemas, and the ever exciting San Bernardino County Fair. Here there are live stock competitions, exibits, a demolition derby, rodeos, concerts, and much more. Live in this smog free environment with all four seasons year round. Make southern cali your home today.

Melrose, Florida

For a genuine flashback of the 1800's, stop by Melrose for some sweet history. Melrose was settles shortly after the Civil War on abandoned cotton fields. History did Melrose a favor in preserving the many of the historic homes, which are still used by residents today. Some serve as bed and breakfast for the traveler. The lakes in the area were conected by a canal and a natural river in which a steamboat would ship citrus crates and visitors. In the mid 1890's a bitter cold ruined almost all of the citrus crop and damaged the town a great deal. Some years it hardly survived but is yet left with the beautiful historic town that it is today.

Scottsdale, Arizona

Love the sun and fear the cold? Then come to The Valley of the Sun here in Arizona. Scottsdale is on the outskirts of Pheonix to the northwest. Enjoy life, spend time on some of the championship golf courses. Spend a few day pampering yourself with the may spas in the area. Shop until you drop in some of the best places. While the population grows, there is still plenty of room to breath, and even better, reasonable pricing. Scottsdale still hold on to good, fun Old West History and endulge yourself in the Native American culture. It is a great place for children to grow up. Full of quality schools and plenty of parks for picnics.

Paradise Valley, Arizona

Paradise Valley sits on the outskirts of Phoenix. It was pick as the perfect place to build a home, just out of the city and among the lovely scenery. There you will have plenty of places to go hiking on Camelback Mountain or Mummy Mountain, so named after a swiss resident noticed the ridge looked similar to a egyptian mummy lying down. A more popular hike in Camelback Mountain is Echo canyon to see the "The Monk", a rock that appears to be a monk on bended knee. Not much of a hiker? You can still enjoy the beatiful redrock againts the blue sky from the scenic drive. All around you will see the life of the desert and wild flowers. This gave some of the early settlers the idea to name it Paradise Valley, and Paradise it most definitely is.

Beautiful Daytona Beach

What do you think of when you hear the words "Daytona Beach"? Vacation, relaxation, and all good positive things? Me too. Now you can make it more that just a vacational visit. You can make it a style of living. Dayton Beach is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Florida. Take your sweetheart for a stroll along the beach around May 15th to October 30th to see life work it's beautiful magic. Female sea turtles will crawl up on the beach to lay their eggs. In about two months the little ones hatch and make their way back into the big blue. Mind your distance though as to not disturb their sojourn. Daytona Beach also welcomes you to their raceways and their annual Biketoberfest. This is when things start to get hot in the city. For the children (and some husbands that act like children) Disney World, Universal Studios, and Sea World are just down the road in Orlando. Daytona Beach is also full of history and other wonderful sites. If you want to live in paradise or retire in style, Daytona Beach is the ideal location. It's one of my number ones. We'll see you there.
